A Canine Good Citizen® is a dog who behaves well in a crowd, has good manners when guests visit the home,
is reliable around children, and doesn't lunge, bark or threaten other dogs or people.
CGC Certification ensures a welcome in some hotels and other establishments that otherwise will not accept dogs.
The CGC test is a series of ten activities including "Accepting a friendly stranger" and "Sitting politely for petting".

Public Participation
To test your dog's manners, please sign up at the Canine Good Citizen® tent beginning at 9:00.
The first dog will be tested at 9:30 and testing will run until 2:30 with a break for lunch at 12:00.
